Lexi Myers, PT, DPT

Lexi has been working with children with special needs since 2012. From these experiences, Lexi witnessed many individuals struggle to complete motor skills that would let them participate in activities, resulting in frustration, disappointment, and self-doubt. This led Lexi to search for a career where she could help individuals with motor impairments increase mobility and independence. Lexi believes that gaining gross motor skills provides kids with the independence needed to excel in various aspects in life including interacting with peers, making friends, participating in sports, enjoying playgrounds, physical education classes, community navigation, trampoline or other play parks, and much more! Lexi went on to receive her Bachelor and Doctorate degrees from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). Lexi has been working in pediatric physical therapy for over two years and looks forward to helping kids do what they do best - PLAY!

In her free time, Lexi enjoys reading, weightlifting, painting, cuddling with her special needs cat, and playing with her dog!

Our Philosophy

The philosophy of On Top Therapy is based on the 3 C's of stewardship: Commitment, Communication, and Care. The therapists at On Top are committed to the clients and all involved in servicing the community. All treatment sessions are centered around the clients' needs while integrating motivational factors to ensure efficient progress. Effective communication will be utilized between the therapists and clients/caregivers in order to meet the needs of the clients successfully. We encourage conversations about client progress as seen in environments other than the clinic. We also encourage caregivers to sit in on treatments at their convenience to demonstrate our transparency. And client care is paramount for the success of all who choose On Top Therapy. Every single therapist at the clinic will demonstrate the love we have for assisting clients toward independence.
